What to Expect Before Surgery
We hope that your surgical experience will be a pleasant one. If we can be of assistance in answering questions before your day of surgery, you can reach us through our pre-operative services nurse at 630-990- 2212.
Soon after your surgeon has scheduled your procedure, one of our nurses will call you. At that time, a pre-surgical anesthesia evaluation will be completed. We will also confirm your surgical date, time of arrival, the scheduled procedure and complete a comprehensive medical history examination.
Please make the nurse aware of any medical conditions you may have, medications you are currently taking taking, if you have visited your primary care physician or specialist, and any testing you may have had prior to your surgery.
